Content Policy

SnapVivid lets you turn photos into new images and videos, including tools that put one person’s face into another picture or clip. That power comes with a simple rule: only use real people’s likeness with their permission. This policy explains what that means in practice. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, which still apply in full.

What you can create

• Edits of your own photos and videos, or of people who have agreed to it.
• Fun, creative and personal work — party pictures, costume looks, memes among friends who are in on it, art projects.
• Professional work — marketing, product shots, headshots, storyboards — where you hold the rights to the material and the people shown have agreed.

Before you upload, make sure you own the files or have permission to use them, and that every person whose face appears is fine with how you are using it.

What is not allowed

• Non-consensual intimate imagery. No nude, sexual or intimate content of a real person without their explicit consent — including “undressing” edits or placing someone’s face on sexual material.
• Anything involving minors. No sexual or suggestive content involving anyone under 18, and no face swaps that put a child into adult, violent or degrading content.
• Impersonation, fraud and deception. No content meant to pass as a real person to mislead others, get around identity checks, run scams, or spread misinformation — including deceptive content about elections, voting or candidates.
• Harassment and bullying. No content made to humiliate, threaten, intimidate or target a person.
• Misleading content about public figures. Satire and commentary are fine when they are clearly presented as such. Content that could reasonably be mistaken for real footage or photos of a public figure saying or doing something they did not is not.
• Infringing others’ rights. No uploads you do not have the right to use, and no use that violates someone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or rights over their own name and likeness.

How we enforce this

We may block generations, remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break this policy or the Terms — with or without notice, depending on how serious the case is. Where the law requires it, we report content to the relevant authorities.

AI-generated media may be labelled

Images and videos made with SnapVivid may carry a visible or invisible label (such as a watermark or metadata) marking them as AI-generated. Do not remove such labels to present the result as real, and disclose that content is AI-generated wherever the platform you post to, or the law, requires it.

Reporting abuse

If you believe content made with SnapVivid shows you without your consent, involves a minor, or otherwise breaks this policy, email support@snapvivid.com with a link or description of the content and why you are reporting it. We review every report and prioritise those involving intimate imagery or minors.
